Flor de Caña ECO, sustainability as the overriding principle.
The production of Flor de Caña ECO in Nicaragua is focused entirely on eco-friendliness. The ingredients are certified Fairtrade products, and only renewable energy is used to distil the rum. Recycled glass is used for the bottle, and the label is made of bagasse fibre, a residue of sugar cane stalks. Moreover, only FSC-certified materials are used for the outer packaging.
This full-bodied, ultra-premium rum is a blend of hand selected rums that have been aged in bourbon barrels. Flor de Caña ECO is a rich colour of dark mahogany and has the gentle scent of plums and tropical fruits. On the palate, it tantalises with notes of melting caramel and wood that fade into a long, smooth finish.
As with all Flor de Caña bottlings, ECO is SUGAR FREE, GLUTEN FREE AND KOSHER CERTIFIED.
Sweet and nutty, with complementary aromas of black pepper. Notes of prunes and tropical fruits.
The sweetness continues into the palate which is bursting with caramel, toffee and vanilla bean.
Long with cocoa, and allspice lingering.
