Glenfarclas 12 Year Old

If you are a fan of Highland single malt Whiskies the word Glenfarclas is music to your ears. Founded in 1836, the Grant family owns and operates the distillery to this day, making it one of the few remaining independent and family-owned distilleries in Scotland. Glenfarclas produces a range of classic Speyside-style Whiskies with a Sherry influence — all of them tasty and popular with the Whisky “in-crowd.”

Glenfarclas 12 Year Old Single Malt is aged exclusively in premium Oloroso and Fino Sherry casks. It’s an excellent introduction to the distilleries style. Layers of flavour just keep coming and it is a true pleasure to savour.

Nose

Fresh and beautifully light and creamy. Sherried fruit combined with a tempting spicy sweetness and a hint of sappy oak.

Palate

Full-bodied with a delightful sherried fruit, oak and delicious sweet sensations. Notes of date and walnut cake, with toffee apple.

Finish

Long, smooth and flavoursome with a lingering spiciness.
