Teeling Stout Cask Finish

Teeling Stout Cask Finish Irish Whiskey brings the collaboration between Teeling and Galway Bay Brewery, one of Irelands most celebrated craft breweries full circle. For years, Teeling has been collaborating with the Irish craft beer maestros to make the 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout, which matures in Teeling Small Batch barrels. The casks that initially aged Teeling whiskey and then 200 Fathoms Imperial Stout have made their way back to Teeling to be filled with more tasty Irish whiskey for a finishing period of three months. The stout-seasoned barrels impart the whiskey with their rich, dark, decadent, chocolatey character! The result is a true celebration of flavour-focused innovation.

COLOUR

Golden mahogany.

NOSE

Dark chocolate, truffles, apple pie, blackberry, and a hint of ginger.

PALATE

Creamy caramel and vanilla, with layers of orange and plum. Sweet malt, roasted barley, sour fruits, black cherries and baking spice.

FINISH

Chocolate biscuits, more caramel, seville oranges, honeycomb and cream.
